# AWE job packet: building.wholereach.com /index

Generated 2026-09-12 07:16 UTC. Everything the designer needs is in this file plus preserve.html.

## The job
Redesign the page at https://building.wholereach.com/ to the house design bar, keeping every fact and every working link, so it reads as a page made for this subject and nobody else's. Deliver ONE self-contained HTML file to `/var/www/building.wholereach.com/awe-preview/index.html`, then run `awe.py check building.wholereach.com`.

## Site identity (from the live page)
- Title: WholeReach Building — a marketing department for any site
- Description: Enter any website and the engine runs a real audit, then builds an automated marketing department — readiness scores, a fix list, and a 30/60/90 plan.
- Site sections that exist: act, api, assets, index2608041500
- Pages on site: 6

## What the audit found (Des estimate 32, base 30)
- Stock or generic type system (Inter, JetBrains+Mono, Space+Grotesk): choose typefaces for this subject.
- 38 em dashes in copy; the network rule is none.
- 7 uppercase label styles; ALL-CAPS eyebrows are a template tell.
- Numbered 01/02/03 markers present; keep only if the content is a real sequence.
- 1 links end in an arrow.
- No visible focus style for keyboard users.
- Broken internal links: /audit/, /calculator/, /compare/, /connect/, /demo/, /demo/demo.mp4
- No FAQ page; a real FAQ earns AI-search visibility and Des points.
- No sources page; cite what the site claims.

WholeReach Building — a marketing department for any site Real audit · no fabricated numbers Point the engine at any website. Get a marketing department. Enter a web address. The engine fetches the live site, scores its readiness across five disciplines, and builds the plan a marketing team would — every finding traced to a real signal on the page. The loop Audit → Draft → Approve → Ship → Measure ↻ Nothing ships without your approval. 1 Enter a site Any web address — yours or a prospect's. → 2 The engine reads it A live fetch, scored across five disciplines. → 3 Activate the department Real briefs, fixes & drafts — you approve each. Point the engine at your site and a whole marketing department goes to work — each role drafting in its lane, none of it shipping until you say yes. Role 01 The Auditor Scores your site 0–100 and finds the gaps holding it back. Role 02 The SEO Manager Rewrites titles, meta, schema and links to win Google and ChatGPT. Role 03 The Content Desk Drafts on-brand pieces aimed at what your buyers actually search. Role 04 The Social Scheduler Turns each piece into ready-to-post drafts for every channel. Role 05 The Email Writer Writes newsletters and follow-ups — and never sends without your OK. Role 06 The Approval Queue Holds every draft until you give it a one-tap yes. Automate each part and the role runs itself — every draft still waiting on your yes. Part 01 Real data A live audit of your site — scores, gaps, and what your buyers actually search. The brief every draft starts from. Part 02 The maker Writes the real work — titles, pages, posts, emails — in your voice, aimed at genuine demand. Part 03 The clock Runs on a schedule. Daily, weekly, on cadence — without being chased or reminded. Part 04 The check Nothing publishes until you approve it. One tap to ship, or send it back for another pass. Not a slide deck — a method already running What you stand up for one site. Point the engine at an address and this is what fills the queue — real, on-brand, ready to approve. Readiness report A 0–100 score across five disciplines — every number from a live fetch. Prioritized fix list The highest-leverage gaps first, in plain English. 30 / 60 / 90 roadmap What to do now, next, and later — sequenced. Content calendar & drafts Pieces aimed at what your buyers actually search. SEO & AI-search rewrites Titles, meta, schema and links for Google and ChatGPT. Social drafts, per channel Each piece turned into ready-to-post copy. Email & newsletter drafts Follow-ups that never send without your OK. Publish live + one-click rollback Approved work goes up — and comes back down just as fast. New — the outbound half It fills the pipeline, not just the page. Inbound brings buyers to you; outbound goes and finds them. The department runs both — and every message still waits on your yes. Step 01 Your ICP Pins down exactly who to sell to — the ideal-customer profile, drawn from your best accounts and your market. Step 02 Prospect research Digs into each account and person — role, buying signals, and the right thing to open with. Step 03 Lead lists Builds a clean, targeted list — the right people, not a scraped dump. Step 04 Cold outreach, drafted Writes the emails in your voice, personalized per prospect. Nothing sends without your approval. Step 05 Booked calls Handles the follow-up and the booking link, so replies turn into meetings on your calendar. The math A whole department, below one agency retainer. Every role, running every day — for less than the cost of a single managed hire. The usual way ~$2,900 /mo A managed marketing department, or an agency retainer. No fabricated numbers. Frequently asked questions What does the WholeReach Building actually do? It reads your website with a deterministic scoring engine and reports only what it can actually measure — no fabricated scores, no invented traffic numbers. Does it make things up or hallucinate? No. The scorer is deterministic and token-free: it runs a fixed set of signal checks and refuses to guess. Every number traces back to something it measured on your site. Can it post to my social media automatically? Yes. Once your accounts are connected to the publishing hub, it can publish to X, Bluesky, and more automatically — now, or on a schedule. Do I stay in control of what gets published? Yes. It holds every deliverable for your approval, and no post goes out to your audience without your sign-off. How do I get set up? Pick a package on the setup page and we connect (or open) your accounts for you — a one-time step. After that, ongoing posting is hands-off. Now publishing to X · Bluesky · and more — automatically. ## The design bar
# The house design bar (AWE)

Every page AWE ships is judged against this. It is the frontend-design skill's
standard plus the network's own rules. Read it before designing; re-read it
before shipping.

## Ground the design in the subject

Identify the subject, the audience, and the page's primary job before drawing
anything. The industry, its materials and its vernacular are where distinctive
choices come from. Build with the site's real content and knowledge base, never
lorem ipsum, never invented claims the site cannot back.

## Principles

- The hero opens with the most characteristic thing in the subject's world, in
the most appropriate form: a headline, an image, a demo, a live moment. The
"big number, small label, gradient accent" hero is the default; only use it if
it is truly the best option.
- Typography carries the personality. One family, or two clearly distinct
families. Choose them for this brief, not the families you reach for on every
project. Set a real type scale with intentional weights and spacing. Body line
length under 80 characters; serif body gets a little more line-height.
- Avoid the commonest tells of a generated page: a single accented word in a
headline; ALL-CAPS labels; unnecessary eyebrow labels above content; numbered
01/02/03 markers on content that is not a sequence; arrows appended to links.
- Visual structure is information. Borders, rules, numbering and dividers
encode something about the content; they are not decoration.
- Motion: one orchestrated moment at most. No fade-and-slide on every section.
Motion that answers a person's action is welcome.
- Copy is design content. Plain verbs, sentence case, active voice, no filler.
A button says what happens: "Book a walkthrough", not "Submit".

## The looks that read as AI defaults (do not spend freedom on these)

1. Warm cream background near #F4F1EA with a high-contrast serif display and a
   terracotta accent near #D97757.
2. Near-black background with a single acid-green or vermilion accent.
3. Broadsheet layout: hairline rules, zero radius, dense newspaper columns.
4. The SaaS card kit: identical rounded cards, one radius everywhere, the same
soft grey shadow under each, gradient washes as decoration.
5. Template chrome: tracked-out ALL-CAPS eyebrows, meta strings joined with
middle dots, "WORD — fragment" labels, tinted near-black (#0B0B0B) as black,
monospace for small labels, "→" on link text.

If the brief pins a direction, follow it. Where it leaves an axis free, do not
spend that freedom on one of these.

## Network rules (non-negotiable)

- No em dashes anywhere in copy. Use a comma, a colon, or a new sentence.
- Keep what the network needs on every page: the AdSense tag and ads.txt,
analytics snippets, the WholeTech promo bar and wt-stack script if the page
had them, canonical, robots, sitemap entry, the IndexNow key file.
- Keep the site's existing internal links working (nav targets, KB, act, case
studies, lessons, prompts, resources, videos, enquire). New pages may add
links; they may not drop them.
- Responsive to 360px wide, visible keyboard focus, reduced motion respected,
contrast at least 4.5:1 for body text, alt text on every meaningful image.
- One HTML file per page, self-contained CSS in a single style block (plus
Google Fonts link if used), no build step, no external JS frameworks.
- Ship only to owned domains, only through the ship step, only after a preview.

## Process (plan, review, build, critique)

1. Plan: a compact token system: 4 to 6 named colors, the typefaces and their
roles, a one-sentence layout concept with an ASCII wireframe, and 3 to 5
principles that make this page unlike any other.
2. Review the plan against the brief. Anything that reads like the generic
default for a page of this kind gets revised, and the change is written down.
3. Build to the plan. Watch CSS specificity; avoid selectors that cancel each
   other on section spacing.
4. Critique: remove one accessory. Then run `awe.py check` and fix what it flags.

## What the Des score rewards (wholetech.com/alldomains)

Designed webfont family beyond Inter, Space Grotesk, JetBrains Mono, Roboto,
Open Sans (or a serif family in the CSS) scores 70; WT-Skins kit 55; stock fonts
30; the generic dark AI template 11. Section richness adds points: sources page
with 10+ cited links, a videos page with 6+ embeds, a live page, news items, a
FAQ with 4+ entries, a form. Real traffic adds the rest. Design for the reader,
and the score follows.
